Antonio Rudiger has revealed he hasn’t spoke to Chelsea about the possibility of extending his Chelsea contract.

Rudiger joined the London club from Roma last summer, and has gone on to make over 60 appearances for the team already.

This has sparked rumours that he could be in for a new contract at Stamford Bridge, but he’s played the speculation as he still has nearly four years remaining on his deal.

When asked if he’s talking to Chelsea about extending his contract, Rudiger replied.’That’s not the case to be honest.

‘It’s also not necessary at the moment either with three-and-a-half years to go.’

The German international has become a regular in Maurizio Sarri’s new-look Chelsea defence, and it looks set to stay that way for the foreseeable future.

The Blues next game is at home to Bournemouth on Wednesday night in the Carabao Cup.
